The Carmichael Bold, bright, and made for two.

The red kitchen is the first thing you notice, and it's the thing guests still mention after they leave. Bold cabinetry against original exposed brick, under vaulted ceilings and the building's own 1885 beams, with tall windows looking straight down Hurontario Street. The Carmichael sits at the front of the building, awake and full of light, a front-row seat to downtown Collingwood.

It's named for the Carmichael family, shipbuilders and merchants who once owned this building, back when Hurontario Street ran a working harbour town. Old bones. Modern soul.

The kitchen is made for cooking, with room at the island to spread out, so a slow dinner in feels like part of the stay.
